M4:Traveling with the Bedouins

The bright sun is shining in my face this morning and the hot sand overheating my body. My eyes are open and I know realized we are in the dessert and a seething Zorah is coming at me. She is just as confused as me! The sand is BURNING hot on my skin, I feel like I'm in a fire pit. It was then when Zorah noticed a tribe of Bedouins. All dressed in white they started coming toward us.
It turns out we accidentally time traveled here, hot dessert of the Arabian Peninsula, last night. The Bedouins took us in and are giving us clothes. They had many people in their tribe, 3 families I believe each caring  4 children. It was hot and dry, I haven't eaten scenes last night and it is now noon with no food. Luckily I got changed into a white sarong and a head scarf. I'm feeling dizzy...whoa....whoa.....zzzzzzzzzzzz.
So confused just woke up...its 10PM. I'm sweating like crazy and hot. My tongue is DRY. I must have blacked out. The sand looks lustered in the moon light and I see the moon looming over the sand dunes. As I take in the view it hit me.....I am all alone. Where did the tribe go?!?!? How could my two sisters forget me? They are my best friends and they left me here, in the dessert...alone.
As I lay down I feel like I'm going to cry my family left me here. How could they? Now the sand is freezing cold and I'm starting to shiver. All of a sudden there is a great wind and sand is rising. In the distance what looks like a great fog is coming my way .Sand is everywhere...I don't know which way is up, down, right, left I'm lost. Suddenly I was swept off my feet and can't breathe!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" breathing heavily I wake up. Zorah and Ella look at me like I'm a freak... I reached over to give them a hug panting. The bright sun is shining in my face this morning and the hot sand overheating my body. Its happening all over again. Hopefully this time it doesn't go so bad!

  1. That must have really hurt if you felt like you were in a fire pit.

  2. So it was just a dream? I like how you describe the sand as both hot and freezing (it's true!)
